Fresno Police Beat Homeless Man

February 9, 2009 Two Fresno Police Officers caught on tape beating a homeless man. Of course, Police Chief Jerry Dyer always has an excuse for his officers behavior. He just recently had to disband his narcotics unit because four of the six detectives in that unit were involved in an auto theft ring. One fo those four officers owned the chop shop. Now hundreds of past narcotics case convictions may end up being thrown out. After this beating, I think Jerry Dyer needs to go…and soon.

Bateman are whatever u call yourself cops are paid to protect and server that means they have to uphold the laws they enforce, you can not beat up a person because they are druck in public. But the fact you would make a statement like this lets me no you dont have any common sense.

it doesnt matter what happemed before that because when they had the man down they should never ever beat that man in the face.. someone should of stopped that shit but in this world people are scared. makes me mad

“IF” in fact the homeless guy did attack the police as the police state, that is no excuse nor valid reason to attack the homeless guy afterwards. Police are supposed to remain calm and composed when in these situations. Is it “we beat the crap outta you regardless”? Just goes to show cops are now out of control. Tazing kids, grandmothers, etc.
