When will idiots like Henry Gates learn to cooperate with the Police, and when will Obama learn to stop acting stupidly, or stupid? The answer to both of these questions is never. As for the Professor, or anyone else for that matter, you need to do as the Police say whether you think they are right or wrong. Of course if they tell you to jump off a cliff, then no, you should not do what they say, but in the normal course of them investigating something, just do as they say. I am 99% sure that this Professor dude mouthed off to the cop without provocation; I’m sure it was due to the gigantic chip on his shoulder. I’m also sure that the only one who brought a bad attitude to this situation was the Professor; he wanted to provoke the cop into arresting him for some sort of publicity or something. I can see this so clearly in my mind, I can see the cop being antagonized on his every move. Professor Henry Louis seems like a real jerk to me, who as I said before was just making the most (to stir things up racially) out of a bad situation. We can expect something like that from a man like Louis, but to have things stirred up by the President is another thing. What was Obama thinking when he said that the Cambridge Police acted stupidly? Did he momentarily forget the position that he holds, did he think for just a moment that he was back on the Chicago streets organizing communities? A man is harrassed by the Metropolitan Police whilst speaking his mind openly and freely in Oxford Circus, central London on the 24th January 2009 moments before another Free Palestine demonstration. I managed to teach the Policeman a little about the law on free speech, which he seemed to need a refresher course on; he then called in the Overt Filming team to try and intimidate us. It’s a great British tradition to stand up for truth and free speech. We must all work together to prevent the UK turning into a Police State.

As the person who filmed this event. I would like to say that although Andrew may appear to be a conspiracy theorist, he still was accosted by the police after Senator Kerry said he wanted to hear the question. If Accent Speakers Bureau had allowed all those standing in line to ask questions, this never would have happened. Unless of course the police would have stepped in anyway.
